Gotia.io is a very interesting multiplayer fighting game where you have to control a heroic warrior and try to destroy all the other enemies in the arena to increase your strength. In this game, there are many different types of warriors you can choose from, each with their own weapons. Once you've chosen your character, you're off to the fray! Grab your sword, ax or spear and fight. Use mouse to move your character and use LEFT MOUSE BUTTON or SPACEBAR to attack from your weapon. You must collect colored gems scattered around the arena to increase your strength and level up your character. As you progress, your character's strength increases and the power of each opponent's attack gets stronger. The xp you collect is also your health, you die when you lose all xp. Attack other players to reduce their xp.
There are three basic warriors to play: Viking, Knight and Spartan. Each warrior has his own animal, the Vikings have an elk, the Knights have a horse and the Spartans have a goat. The choice of warrior does not affect the gameplay, everyone has the same damage and movement speed regardless of the type of warrior.

Stay away from bigger players as they will probably win if you fight them alone. Attack players your size or smaller. Smaller players are a bit faster so it can be difficult to keep up with them if they are running away from you unless you have a horse.

It's better to have a shield in teamfights because you take less damage.

To take down bigger players by teaming up with other smaller players. be prepared with shield to avoid getting killed in an attack. Really big players will also give you strong bounce when you run to them, so it's handy to have a horse to ride back for faster hitting distance.

Once you want to raise the difficulty of the game, then you can try Peasant. The farmer deals 50% less damage than the others and rides on a pig.

There are other warriors that can be unlocked when you level up on your account, they are: Swedish Knight, Scanian Knight, Danish Knight and Teutonic Knight. There are also 8 other skins that can be purchased.

There are two types of powerups in this game, shields and horses. Shields will reduce the damage taken by 50% and horses will increase your speed by 50%.

You get the power-ups by simply walking over them. The power-up is active for 20 seconds.
